Broadway Limited has announced a new production run of its N scale USRA Light and Heavy Pacific 4-6-2 steam locomotives, with new Great Northern, Milwaukee Road, Baltimore & Ohio, and Union Pacific schemes and a 2026 Christmas locomotive.
Light Pacifics are offered for Atlantic Coast Line (#1523, #1535), B&O (#5200, #5223), Milwaukee Road in the Chippewa scheme (#150, #177), Reading Blue Mountain & Northern #425 in light blue, and Union Pacific in the Overland scheme (#3200, #3203). Heavy Pacifics are offered for Canadian National (#5295, #5303), Central of New Jersey in the Blue Comet scheme (#832, #833), Great Northern in Glacier Green (#1357, #1373), Southern in Sylvan Green (#1388, #1389), and the Christmas 2026 scheme. Both versions are also available unlettered.
The models follow the standard USRA designs without railroad-specific variations and include the 10,000-gallon USRA tender. Some schemes are prototypical USRA liveries, some are inspired by similar Pacifics on other railroads, and a few are fantasy schemes. Features include a die-cast boiler and chassis, a golden-white LED headlight, and traction tires. Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC versions are $379.99; Stealth no-sound, DCC-ready versions are $299.99.
Delivery is expected in fall 2026.
