Atlas has announced Master N Russell snow plows as part of its Spring 2026 HO & N catalog. The run covers all-new paint schemes on the existing Master Russell tooling.
Road names on the Atlas listing include Canadian National, Finger Lakes Railway, Lamoille Valley, Maine Central, New Haven, Rock Island, Soo Line, US Air Force, and Wisconsin Central. Atlas’s rerun of ex-Walthers tooling include weighted, detailed underframe, crisply molded body detail, knuckle couplers, window glazing, cupola-mounted grab irons, a brakewheel, roof-mounted horn where appropriate, and builders plate detail.
Russell snow plows have been MOW staples on northern railroads since the 1920s for clearing drifts and embankments; in summer they usually sit in yards with other work equipment.
Pre-order deadline for the Spring 2026 catalog items is April 15, 2026. Atlas’s production schedule points to 4th Quarter 2026 delivery.
