Atlas has announced Master N bay window cabooses as part of its Spring 2026 HO & N catalog. The run covers new paint schemes on the existing Master International Steel bay-window tooling.
Road names on the Atlas listing include Chessie System (B&O), Conrail, CSX, Indiana Harbor Belt, Norfolk Southern, Susquehanna (NYS&W), and Southern. Most roads are offered in two road numbers; Norfolk Southern is listed as a single number. Atlas notes three bay-window styles by prototype, free-rolling trucks, magnetic knuckle couplers, and ready-to-run finish with crisp painting and lettering.
Bay-window cabooses were the clearance-friendly alternative to cupola cars on roads with tight tunnels and bridges. Atlas’s N version remains a straightforward end-of-train option for late-steam through early-modern freights.
Pre-order deadline for the Spring 2026 catalog items is April 15, 2026. Atlas’s production schedule points to 4th Quarter 2026 delivery.
