Atlas has announced Classic N Alco RS-1s as part of its Spring 2026 HO & N catalog. The run covers new paint schemes and road numbers on the existing Classic tooling.
Road names on the Atlas listing include Arkansas & Missouri, Black River & Western, Central Railroad of New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland & Delaware, New Haven, Spokane Portland & Seattle, Vermont Railway, Livonia Avon & Lakeville, and Genesee & Wyoming Bicentennial #1976. Most roads are offered in two road numbers. Silver (DC/DCC-ready) and Gold (sound) versions are available.
RS-1 construction began by Alco in 1941 as a road switcher. Atlas’s Classic N version remains available for branchline and industrial assignments where a four-axle Alco fits better than larger power.
Pre-order deadline for the Spring 2026 catalog items is April 15, 2026. Atlas’s production schedule points to 4th Quarter 2026 delivery.
